Did the "Gap Gallop" this Sunday. A really beautiful ride. Went by myself, but wound up riding with a guy I met there and a 14 yr old kid! Ben ,the 14 yr old did great. He didn't quite finish with us, but I imagine he still completed it in less than 6 hrs. I was at 103 miles, 17.5 mph. Felt really good. I pulled most of the way because Rich, the other guy, hadn't had as much riding in as I have, plus I felt really good. He gave a few pulls when I needed it. Some of the most beautiful country I've ever rode through. Eastern Pa, up to the Delaware water gap, and back down towards Allentown. There were really only 3 good climbs, 1st one the descent was 1.5 miles @ 12% decline!
:-) 51 mph, coasting. Life is good.
