I'm thinking of buying a Selev Alien or Atom helmet. Any idea what safety standards they meet, or how good/bad they are?

I have the selev Alien it is a great fitting helmet fits me much better than my giro also lighter than the giro I would highly reccommend one size fits all the back adjustment goes from XS to xl. I don't think you can go wrong with this lid.

I have the Atom... an interesting helmet and a nice curiosity but not quite on a par with my MET Strad or Giro Boreas.

The Atom doesn't fit my noggin' quite as well as the above two... but of course, that's personal.

Right now, it's a backup lid. Ironically, I'm now considering getting a Catlike Kompact as worn by Euskaltel Euskadi and Kelme... again, an interesting helmet.

I have two Alien helmets - one red and one blue. Purchased from probikekit.com at a great price. I think they were around $50 ea. Not bad getting 2 for 1 at the price of a Giro helmet. They fit nicely and are well ventilated. Usually get a second look as they are not too common.
