I've been trying for 2 days to get on the velowear website to look for a flag jersey, but yesterday my stupid computer wouldn't load it and today I get a prompt asking for a user nam an password to get on the homepage...what's up with that??

I didn't even get that far before I said skewer it. They don't have anything that I need that badly today to fight to get into the site.

Additionally, a new worm virus is out there lurking again and it could have been effected by that, my phone answer service was effected and shut down.

I got on yesterday but the site kept giving me a message stating that a fatal error had occured. As usual with most things related to computers I just x-ed out the message and kept going. The order program never shut down, but with the error message I really did not expect it to work. Today I received an e-mail confirmation on my order. Just keep trying it might work.

I went through the whole process of submitting an order on the website. I got to the final screen, after filling out all the info, and the next screen said "under construction."

So, I did screenshots of all the ordering info and e-mailed it to them. They replied a day later that they are not accepting orders by email. Hmm.

So, I replied that I couldn't believe that they would refuse an order having received all the necessary information by email, and to just forget it. That doesn't seem like good customer service to me.

their e-business function is not working, call them.

when i talked to them on the phone, they were nice as though they were good neighbors, though i'd never talked to these guys before.

give them another chance--by phone (if you can find the # without the website). i think you might find it in your e-mail if you're a member of their online/e-mail specials mailing list. seems i've discarded their last email.

After I visited the website today to look at this, about 20 minutes later my IT department visited my, umm cube, and informed me I got the worm virus. Since the website looks so suspect, I believe I got it from velowear.

Anyway, after some majic my PC is cleared up, but I wouldn't visit that site until this worm virus is cleared up. I can't prove it came from them, but it is an odd coincidence considering their website is all microsoft stuff right now.

I ordered one of the flag jerseys from Velowear before their computers went down. I followed with a phone call two days later to check my order. They seemed like good folks, they are a sister company to Voler Team Apparel jersey company. They said they hope to have their computer back online by Thurs., A.M.
