But really, I'm not having any problems. getting back to work yesterday was enough of a challenge; having to drive just turned the whole day to shit. I couldn't face it again, especially with the perfect morning outside today.
And if stress is bad for your heart, what could be worse than driving or better than riding?
It's been almost three years since my last "cardiac event," and this one was hardly a blip by comparison. It's the bike that's slowing the disease, and it's fitness that enables me to bounce back faster. I can't let myself get lazy.
It's not a problem, really. But I do appreciate everybody's concern. Thanks.
