I was at a local LBS this weekend looking around for wheelset upgrades. The guy helping me pulled out Mavic's 2002 catalog, where it showed two Ksyrium wheelsets. The regular one, which apparently will be a little lighter, as well as a cheaper version which will have stainless (or cro-moly) spokes instead of the aluminium ones.
Alas, I haven't been able to track down any internet stores that are carying the new wheels (the store didn't have any in stock either).

Has anyone heard of the new wheels, and if so, do you know when they will be released for sale & what they will cost?

Thnx

If you haven't read already, mavic wheels are a lot cheaper from overseas sources like sdeals.com or totalcycling.com. Ksyriums typically cost $540 or less, delivered.

I got the 2001 Ksyriums with the ED-10 hub from total cycling in ocotber 2000. Keep an eye on their web sites. I'll bet one of them has the newest mavics as soon as anyone.
