does my new bike fit?cordedduck

I just finished building a new GT ZR1. The frame is a size 54, and the stem is 110mm in length. I am 5'10" with a 32" inseam. I have a stem spacer stack of 1/2". My question is this: is this the correct size bike for my body? I THINK it fits, although I feel a little stretched out. Exactly how "stretched out" should I feel? How do I know for sure if it fits, or if I'm scr*%ed? Thanks
So how's it feel when you ride it?nee Spoke Wrench

The purpose of all of this fit stuff is to make you comfortable and efficient when you ride.

Imagine a room full of people doing toe touches. Some can touch their toes, some can barely touch tielr knees and some can flatten their palms against the floor. Those people are all going to fit on their bikes a little differently.

Assuming you are talking about pants length as 32", you and I are about the same height. My go-fast bike is a 57cm Klein, but I'm old and fat and not very flexible. I chose the larger frame because I wanted a higher handlebar position.

It sounds to me like you are pretty well committed to this bike for a while. Get in a few rides and see how it feels. If you can ride 50 miles without shoulder or neck aches, I'd say the fit must be OK. If you're not comfortable, try another post and we'll discuss some things you can try.
