Can I convert??Cartman

I've just been invited to attend the local clubs cyclocross course, owever, I don't have a cross bike. I have an OK mt bike, and a Bianchi Giro w/ a tripple for the road. My question is this - Can I convert my Giro to a cross bike??
Any room for bigger tires?MB1

The triple crankset should get the job done gearing wise. Lots of folks even run just one ring with a wide range cluster.

If the local clubs truely do some dirt and mud tire clearance becomes a huge issue and your ATB might do better. The Giro ought to be ok to get started (Celeste adds speed and style points).
