Has anyone had any experiences with the Douglas Racing titanium bikes being sold be Colorado Cyclist?

They seem to be an outstanding deal but how do they ride?

thanks

They are made by TST

Great bikes and a fantastic value. Check out the web site for some even better prices than the Douglas frames.

Is the Dougls based on one of the Mongoose frames. None of the roadbike frames listed have double butted tubes like the Douglas. Do they not sell that frame direct?

The 3.3 lb (18") double butted MTB looks like a bargin at $700

TST has made Ti frames for many different companies over the years. More receintly, they were making frames for Mongoose until Mongoose shifter production (to Mexico I read somewhere).
I wouldn't say that Douglas frames are based on Mongoose, rather, I would say that both frames were made by TST using similar technology.
A couple of weeks ago they were selling some of the double butted frames. Maybe they sold out. Double butted TI frames are prone to flex anyway. If you're not hung up on brand names, these frames are hard to beat.
