I know that this is a cycling forum, but this is the darkest day in the history of human civilization... please volunteer whatever services you can...

Donate Blood! There will be a great need. The Trade Towers have the capacity for tens of thousands of people let alone the surrounding area.

Volunteer with your local Red Cross Chapter... you might be able to free up local resources that can help in New York. It will take time to organize relief... but give them your name and number now.

Be patient with civil authorities... your city has probably already taken up a secure posture around Federal installations... things will be difficult for a while.

Prayers and thoughts to all of us... we're in this together...

Remain In Light.
AMEN. Time to show our strength, Brothers & Sisters. (nm)RhodyRider

And I mean that with all my heart. My sincerest condolances to the American people and especially
the victims and their families. This is everyone's worst nightmare come true. The scope and depth
of evil in the world overwhelms the mind. We are all terribly diminished by such atrocities. And we
have all become less free.

I hope to God that no one involved in this forum or your families have been directly touched by this
disaster. I'm sure that every Canadian shares in these sentiments. Our hearts, our prayers, and
our physical resources if necessary are with you.

God help us all.
