I just found these at probikekit.com ... it is a british shop. Has anyone used these shops? Will things get here (US) intact? How does the import tax work? Thanks. nestor

Got mine from totalcycling.com. No problems. Got them in less than a week. I paid my mail lady when she delivered them. It was about $30-35.

how much for shipping? Another $40? So that's more like $542...still a good deal but you can get close to that price from some US places and not deal with grey market merch.
Nope. $22.50 (give or take)look271

And I don't know what my other personalities are doing :-). Actually, I am sorry if someone have already asked these questions. I read about that store on bicycling.com and was concerned about buying something from overseas. I am a college student from Michigan looking for a cheap pair of racing wheels. Maybe you can send them an email and the may give me a discount for placing an "ad" :-)...I know, I know...wishful thinking. Oh well, I am sorry if it looked like an ad, it was not...I was truly asking for comments from other people who have done business with them.
Cheers. Nestor.

I bought some Ksyriums from probikekit around the 22nd of August and i recieved them this past friday. They were very well packed and i would not hesitate to buy from them. They can sit in customs for a while, otherwise i would have had them sooner. I have been buying clothing from them for 3 or 4 years now and have never had a problem.
I too have had problems with them. Go elsewhere!7rider

Sep 10, 2001 7:27 PM
What type of problems you had? can you explain? I am begining to think you guys are "short" on the probikekit stock...because of all the bashing :-)
They overcharged my credit card and refused to deal with it7rider

maybe "cynical me" nailed it. manipulation is so common on the net now that we can't help but question things like this. Thanks zzz for the reference to the other one. I am guessing that the bashing is more in response to the act of trying to place an ad in the form of a question. It's a pity that this wonderful net is also, so often, used to deceive.
TO ALL: SORRY THIS WAS NOT AN AD!!!!! readnestorl

I am sorry if this seemed like an AD but it was not intended to be an AD. I am a graduate student at the university of michigan. Look me up (www.umich.edu). I did not receive a penny from that store (I wish) and I WAS REALLY trying to get info before I bought the wheels. I have no idea how else to prove to all of you that I was not placing an Ad. It is possible that others have done so in the past, and I am sorry mine seems to be one...but it is not. My name is Nestor Lopez, live in Ann arbor Michigan, and have no affiliation what so ever with that british store. Again, sorry about the confusion and I'll be more careful in the future. cheers. I just got my Ksyriums today. I took them immediately to a shop that was skeptical about the low low prices. Anyways, I took them there to have them inspected and they are true as an arrow. Hubs are very very quiet, smooth, and perfectly tuned. Everything was as stated from the website. Took about 2 weeks to recieve product due to Sept. 11 tradgedy and subsequent delays. I would do business with them again. Try totalcycling.com They offer quicker delivery, but a little more pricey. Hope this helps.
