I need in desperate need to buy a 48cm specialized Allez Elite FRAME and Fork only. LBS do not seem excited about the idea of doing that. I thought that it would be a good deal for them to sell me the frame for about $600 and then make more than the complete retail price by selling the parts on sale. Maybe I am wrong, Maybe it is too difficult to sell the parts. Anyhow. the only decent but relatively affordable frame that fits my GF is the specialized allez elite or comp. Anyone have an idea about what I can do? Anyone willing to sell me just the frame? Thanks Nestor

www.gvhbikes.com has alot of smaller sized frames. If nothing he has in stock fits - order a Viner or Landshark.

Thanks, we just order a cadd 4 from him. He does not have anything the fits (some 46 c-c which are too big because the would be like a 48 c-t, which we already know it is too big). We need a 46 C-T or 44-45 C-C. The 48 Allez works because of their compact design and sloped tube. Any other ideas? Thanks. We are looking to spend only about 600 for the frame.
Have you looked into Giant? nmTrekRider

Did you try a Schwinn Fastback? Another excellent compact design.
