Passed on a Merlin XTR for $400.....Shoot MeChris Zeller

Saw a used Merlin MTB with full XTR in the bike rental shop over the weekend. It had some wear and needed a new shock and tires. No decals (a plus) so I don't know the model or year. Decided to buy it, but came back and it was GONE! Would have been the perfect bike to leave at the vacation home. Rented a bike instead. I am an idiot.

Never test-rode the bike though. I console myself by thinking that it might not have fit me/maybe had a cracked frame etc.
BANG!!! nmAllen az

Nope, the bike didn't have any frame damage...in fact, they came off the price another $75 because of the decals being gone and the fact I bought new tires from them. Just lucky I stopped by and bought before you did...the best bike buy I have ever made!!!

I'm looking for a XC MTB (probably a Sugar), which shop did you find this gem at? Sounds like a great deal. I live in the Boulder-Denver area as well. . .
Not Colorado, at Lake Tahoe on vacationChris Zeller

This was at Tahoe Gear at Homewood Ski Resort? If you are looking to sell let me know. I still can't believe it.
