I was wondering if anyone had seen a sale lately on things that are not either obsolete or incorrect sizes? It seems that everytime one of the big Online retailers has a sale with "tons of great deals" it is always on stuff that is size small or 39 in shoes and will not fit 99% of the public. And if they do have the right size, they "just" sold out of it.

What about junk that nobody wants? Like flags for your bike or lights that last about 15 minutes on low beam.

Puhh-leeeze....

I always race around the neighborhood with flags taped to my bike....dont you? Its pretty rad looking and the chicks dig it too! I figure between the flags and my floro orange construction workers vest the chicks are drooling!!!

Businesses don't put things on sale to be nice to you. They put things on sale to get them out of inventory, raise some cash, and replace that stuff with things that either sell better or have higher margins. Sometimes the stuff is OK but they have more in stock than they want, and sometimes, it's stuff that's just not selling. Stores also have sales knowing that they you will buy some other stuff along with the sale items (AKA "loss leaders"). But they DO NOT put things on sale that have good margins, are in high demand or short supply. Simple as that.
