Sampson Silverton versus Airborne Zeppelin?RGekko

Does anybody have experience with either of the two?
I am 6'5", 190 lb; should I be concerned about frame flex?
Thanks for your input.

There is NO comparison between these two companies!

Sampson is a well respected ti builder here in the Rockies. Though he is price competitive his bikes are far superior craftsmanship to the mass produced asian steeds called Airborne.

That being said, at 6'5" and 190 you probably should worry about frame flex with either of these bikes.

I take it you noticed the different styles of the frames, Airborne has the sloped top tube which is shaped, Sampson is "traditional triangled".

It seems like Sampson's Z7 (a titanium bike) might be the bike for you.

I'm 6'-1", 190#. I just got a z7 and love it. Eric Sampson was great to work with in ordering. I'm not a big gear masher but do ride in the mountains and have not experienced any unusual frame flex.
