approval. Here is a picture of my other bike that I think you'll like more. This is kinda my "beater" bike as you know how much I love my other one. (seriously, I don't mean to sound snooty) Have a nice day.

My bikes are kept in my living room. Live in an apartment dude. The books take up a lot of my apartment. You can't see it but it goes all the way up to ceiling and I have 2 more bookcases on the other side of room. 3 bikes and 3000 books. Anywhere I take a picture would show books is my point.
Impressive on two counts - seriously.Brian C.

Ya, know what you mean: My bikes are off to the sde in the living room, too.
Wish I could say I have half that number of books, though.
I bet you've read like 4 books?Vladamir Nabokov

Yes, I have read many Mr. Nabokov. I even read most of yours with Lolita being my favorite. She is such a little whore, I love that. Seriously, I am surprised you go by a screenname like that and question why one likes to own a lot of books.
Many are from when I was in graduate school and my girlfriend is an editor in NYC for a big publisher, so books are a part of our lives. Cicero said, "a room without books is like a body without a soul". I better stop, because I am sounding too pretentious, and I am not that way. Now go write me another novel, Vlad.
just kiddin you...Vladamir Nabokov

I'm just ribbin you really. Was an English major myself though I managed to purge a good number of books after college and even more after my last move. Amazing how quickly books pile up! Now I'm in a house with big built in shelves on the wall and I have plenty of space to fill!

Seriously. Any good novels you would recommend? I'm spending too much time reading stuff (like this) on line. Personally, I would recommend any books by Howard Norman (The Bird Artist) or Nick Hornby (About a Boy, High Fidelity).

I really like anything by Irvine Welsh. Also David Foster Wallace can be a good read. William Vollman is another favorite of mine.
