Hallo

My name is Carl and i'm writing from Sweden. Eventually i'm going to buy a new bike (preowned). I'm going to buy the bike from another person, not threw a shop. I wonder if someone has heard about a brand called FLANDERS. The seller says the it's from Belgium and custom made. I would be gratefull if you could post any comments good or bad ones, just any thing!!

Thanks

Carl

Hi Carl-

Strange you should ask, I was just looking for these online the other day. Saw more than a few of them when I was in Flanders (Gent) in March. From what I remember, they looked like fairly nice, steel, workingman's bikes. Saw them under old and young racer types alike, although I admit I never got a close up look. I'll be interested to see if anyone else knows anything about them.

There was a brand imported into the US in the 70's and maybe early 80's called "Flandria." The only models that I ever saw were fairly basic and okay but that is about all I can say about them, that and they were indeed European, Belgium or not, I don't know.
