I found a place with real good prices on Brooks saddles. It's Bicycleclassics.com. They're selling the B-17 honey colored for $52 and the black for $46.
they're in cahoots w/local urologist & proctologistnm

I just picked up the team pro from performance for $42. Now have it dialed in, have about 100mi so far and is breaking in nicely. Should really know by monday night how it is going to work out. I had to really fiddle with the for/aft tilt. Before I would run my saddles with a slight nose down tilt. With the brooks it needed to be flat.
The Team Pro is nice...UncleMoe

I have the Conquest on my MTB. It is just like the Team Pro except it has a sprung frame. My hardtail now rides like a full suspension bike - no kidding! I am amazed. The springs are so damn tight to the touch, but just that tinie bit of give on the bumps makes a big difference.

The thing I noticed about the Conquest was that the leather is much softer right off the bat. I think they pre-treat the leather. Plus, it being more narrow than the B17, I did need to make a lot more adjustments to get it to feel just right and mine is perfectly flat too. That was the only way it would feel right.
