Anyone have Shimano shoes?look271

I'm looking at Performance's closeouts and saw they have the "Megapavemantis" shoe for almost 50% off. Is it a good shoe? Originally sold for over $200 and has a carbon sole-can't be too bad, can it?

Have a set of road shoes one step down (forget what they're called) - anyways they're yellow and blue and a few years old. Shimano and Sidi are the only shoes that really fit my slightly narrow feet. Currently run their coarbon soled MTB shoe, again one level down. SUPER STIFF!! pretty well made also.

AS long as they fit I don't see how you can go wrong unless the buckles start breaking (or something like that) and replacement parts become hard to find.

I have a narow heel w/ a wider ball of my foot. Nikes have always fit me well, but being the cheap s.o.b. that I am, I am always looking for a good deal. Haven't found any newer Nikes on sale, but I did see the Shimanos. Worst case is that they won't fit and I'll have to send them back (been there, done that.)
yep, just got SH-R150's from them...IAmtnbikr

$129 for them, carbon soles, nice fit as well. They are fairly true to size. Look at the Shimano website for sizing. Colorado Cyclist shows them to be sized a little off from what Shimano does. I wear a 9.5 or 10, and a 44 fit great. My Nike shoes were always sized way off...I had to go to a 10.5 in my Nike MTB shoes to get a good fit. The 150's are a comfortable shoe, and not a bad price compared to the $250 range shoes out there.
So a 44 may be too small for me?look271

I wear a 10-10.5. Guess I'd have to go with a 44.5 or 45?

Shimano's work great for me, but if you have anything other than SPD or SPDR, these particular shoes will not work (on LOOK, Time) Price IS incredible though, I have debatred getting these since I run SPD mtb pedals, but I am not sure if I should get a pair of LOOKs next spring.
