But I'm afraid to say why. I think it would be a good idea if this forum software limits the tags it recognizes in headings. Marquee is obviously not a good one...

all sorts of little nasties available; at some point, it could be considered a form of hacking

though the problem is that the subject line is limited to a certain # of chars...otherwise you could do all sorts of nasty stuff. still could do nasty stuff the way it is. this site is a security problem waiting to happen.

I'm a web designer and was trying to think of the most obnoxious example of why NOT to be able to include tags in the subject header....BAD IDEA! Didn't realize it would mess things up...thought it would just scroll the subject. If I were the admin I'd nip being able to do what I did in the bud by disabling that "feature". Another problem is that since the name is the same color as the subject I can't tell when the subject ends and the poster's name begins.
