I know there were a bunch of CF and AL and maybe even some Ti bikes in this year's Tour de France. Were there any steel rigs? Just wondering.

I dont think there were any. Im not the expert on this though. I think LOOK had the most bikes overall and the majority of those are CF and then they had some AL mountain stage bikes. Probably mostly AL and CF.

I think Mercury is riding steel Lemonds. Of course they weren't in the Tour. I don't think they were real popular with the riders, at least not with Pavel Tonkov when he was interviewed by Cycling News.
