|RAAM 2002 starts June 16 in Portland Oregon. Projected finish is in Gulf Breeze, Florida from June 24-26.
Anyone want to start taking bets on what day dog finishes? :)

|to get an official "finisher" status you need to be late no more then 48hr from 1st finisher or best course time, which is 8day 10hr.
I have ridden with RAAM racers and RAAM qualifiers (on BMB I've drafted ~10mi and one mild 7-8% 3mi climb). almost 2 weeks after BMB my feet and fingers are still num (and it was only 750miler). I have highest respect to anyone who has guts to make start line even more for those who did make the finish line, even if they are not fast enough to make 10/10 cut.
Maybe you should get off you DH bike and try riding a century for a change, would be fun to see how long you'd last ;-) taking bets?

|I'm sorry, but I'm confused. Get off my DH bike? I guess I'm guilty of racing mountain bikes, but I've done a few centuries too.
I think dog would finish in the limit. I didn't mean to convey any message that he would not.
