|Century the week before a tri-race?||cypher|

|I am trying to encourage a friend of mine to take advantage of the labor day weekend by doing a century (100mi) on Sunday with me. She is hesitant because she has a triathalon a week later. She is in good shape, puts in a good amount of miles a week, done tri's before, and has ridden up to about 70-80 miles for a single ride previously.
Is a week enough time to make a full recovery for the race?

|The day before my 230 mile ride, I went out with a friend of mine and knocked out 60 in the hills.
I felt it in my legs the next day, but it didnt stop me from doing well. If she has a week to recover, I say she will be recovered.

|Agree. Just don't "race" the century.|
