I've used both buckles, and besides looking a little flashier, the half-step ratchet of the ultra is very nice, and the main ratchet lever is spring-loaded, so you'll never have to flip it down while riding along. Personally, I think $35 to upgrade the buckles is a little steep, but do whatever makes you happy. |
