|A guy in my area is selling an 8-year old Bianchi Veloce. I have seen a not very good picture, but not the bike yet. Can someone tell me what a fair price would be for this bike (depending on condition) and what I should look for if I go see the bike?

|Is the frame cracked?
What kind of parts does it have?
Does it have tires?
Is it still under warranty?
What color is it?
Does it have a carbon fork?
Does it friction or index shifting?
What kind of pedals does it have?
Is the paint chipped?
Is there any sign of rust?
How many miles does it have?
Trollman is sure that there are more questions.
Can anyone else help Trollman out?

|Is it the right size?
Regardless of price and quality, you wouldn't buy shoes that were the wrong size would you? The way that you fit on the bike will affect your comfort, performance and enjoyment every single minute that you are on the bike. Nothing else is important enough to deserve rank in second place.
If you're not sure of what you need relative to size, talk to some experienced bike riders or something similar before you go to look at the bike.
