So what's the deal here? Did Specialized go bankrupt? What's going to happen now? Huffy sucks ass so I hope they don't screw up the bikes too much. Do you think that the Spec. bikes will go for cheap now? I like Specialized; I hope it doesn't all go to hell!
Don't you mean Schwinn?Rich Clark

You can read all about it in dozens of news stories, just search on, say, SCHWINN HUFFY.

Do you own a Specialized?Trollman

I couldn't say that, but then as a lifelong resident of the SF Bay Area, I wouldn't. Now, distinguishing a Korean from a Japanese person, that's a toughie...

Anyway, that's about as far as this thread should drift along this particular path.

So it's not Specialized that's being bought out but Schiwnn? Yea!! That's a least a little better...and yes I do plan on buying Specialized.
On that note...Cliff Oates

Our local Schwinn rep went to work for Specialized after he was laid off by Schwinn. His truck makes it pretty obvious who he used to work for. He hasn't repainted it yet and I wonder how much sh!t his colleagues at Specialized are giving him? (BTW, he rides a Waterford RS-11)
