Anyone ever used Polar Advisor or PC Coach software?dough

If you have any experience with these products I would be interested in hearing what you have to say about them. I can't afford a "real" coach so I was thinking of trying one (or both) of them.

I use a Polar Xtrainer Plus so I would have to download to the Polar Advisor software. I could then import the files into PC Coach if desired.

My primary interest is in Ultra-distance riding/racing. Would one of these be helpful or would I be wasting my money?

this board is here to ask questions if you desire, not flame others. your'e taking up space! this board runs slow enough without stupid comments like yours adding to the web clutter.

O.K. I'll take the bait. I'm having a rough week and need to vent on somebody anyway.

Do you know me? Did I do something to upset you?

Why do people like you even bother posting such things? Do you not have anything better to do than pi_s people off?

I'm very serious about my cycling and I'm just looking for a way to get better. I don't need such immature comments like yours.

I'm assuming because you are on this board that you ride. So, given your advice to me, I will have to also assume that you have a real coach. Well, good for you. Some of us however are not fortunate enough to be in a position to hire one. I have a family to support and they come first.

I tell you what. If you will send me the $400-$500 per month that a real coach costs then I would be more than happy to get one. Better yet, I would actually like to hire Chris Carmichael. Do you think you could give me the money for that? No? Not gonna do that for me? Then why don't you keep your smart a_s comments to yourself?

O.K. I feel better now.

I haven't gotten the full software. I use a Polar Coach Heart Monitor and look at the graph, it makes with the freebie version of the software. I like the Sally Edwards new book. I have the Chris C and Lance book, but haven't got to reading it yet.

Now if I could just find a watch with all the features I want. How hard can it be to do distance, speed, cadence, HR and altitude?
Get a Polar Xtrainer Plusdough

That's the one I've got and with the optional accessories (for altitude and cadence) it will do all that and more.
