Does anyone have any information on the next line of TCRs? I've heard rumors that they might be at least partially carbon. Is there any merit to this claim? The only reason I ask is that my 2000 TCR is one frame size too big, and I want to know if I should wait to buy a new frame until next year or not. Thanks for the input- Adam

but it wouldn't surprise me, as they're quite adept at working with cf. I just got a 2001 TCR - haven't built it yet - but carbon is one of the hotter trends, in the seat and chainstays.

If you can get your hands on a current Cycle Sport Magazine, you will find your answer. There's a pic from the TDF Giants, they seem to be made out of carbon. It does not offer any description but, you can clearly see the frame.

Ride On!!

Giant did say in a news realease on their website that they were going to give the ONCE guys a full CF version of the TCR to test in the TDF. In fact they were goin gto deliver two of these test frames to the team. If ONCE liked them, I would expect a full CF version of the TCR for 2002.
