Help with sizingRik

Put off ordering my Look frame because I am undecided about the correct sizing. I know this has been covered before and the sizing resources I tapped, including Colorado Cyclist, Wrench Science and R&A Cycles split between 53 and 54cm as the correct size. For optimum fit, do I err large or small, assuming that either frame size would be workable? (The Serotta size cycle fit is not readily available) Thanks.

I take it that you are not ordering from the lbs or the would do the fitting for you. With such as small difference in size I would err on the side of the smaller frame. But you should check the Look web site to verify the geometry to see the difference in the top tube & correct if needed with a longer stem to get the right fit. You might stop in a lbs to roughly check the fit & use that as a final guage.
