When I decided to go custom, Sano was one of the builders under final consideration. I exchanged numerous e-mails with Marty Williams at Sano and found him to be friendly and helpful. Sano's prices are also pretty reasonable. I ended up going with Carl Strong, in large part because I was able to obtain more information about Strong's bikes than I was about Sano's. I posted here and on other boards requesting information about Sano's bikes. Unfortunately, I never got any responses from anyone who had actually purchased from Sano. The best I could do was a couple of comments from people who knew people who went with Sano and were happy with the results. I don't know where you are located, but I get the sense at least for now Sano is somewhat limited geographically to the Southeast. Maybe if you're in that area you can ask to visit Sano's facility and check out some of the bikes. Good luck.

I live about 45 miles from Huntsville. The frames I've had a chance to look at up-close were really nice. Kinda made me want to stand in front of my oclv while admiring. ;-} I've never ridden one so can't comment about the ride.

My wife has a Sano frame. It's very nice, she loves it. The paint job is fantastic. I plan to have one built in the next year or so. Marty is great to work with.. for the record, I live in Huntsville and Marty is a friend of mine.
