|Abraham Olano is going for the hour record this Saturday. Do you figure he'll get it? Will he break 50KM?
I think he's going to get it with 50.712 KM.
Whoever guesses closest wins the prize.

|I'm going with 51 km. He averaged around 45 km/h in the 55 km time trial in the Giro. You'd think on the track (4 turns, no hills) he could hold 51...That's not quite 4 mph faster. We'll see. I'd like to see Lance try it.|

|I'll put in a wager that he falls short of Boardman's mark of 49.444. I'll guess 49.425.|

|Olano, being a great time triallist (in my opinion better than Boardman [at least the modern Boardman]) will have the advantage of knowing what pace he needs to keep to beat the previous record. I think that he's going to get it because he is in great form from the Giro (I can't believe he kept it together in the mountains).|

|Olano is a big guy,
with a lot of class. I think the reason why he has a hard time in the mountains is because he is a clean dope free rider. At least I would like to believe he is clean. He prepared well this year and is now reaping the rewards. The guy has a near textbook perfect pedal stroke.
I think he has a great chance for taking the hour record.
|So how fast do you figure he'll go? nm||Lazy|
