my left leg is about a cm shorter and im not sure if its the reason but after i ride hard the outside of the same foot aches...it seems to me that im putting to much pressure on this area and to deal with it is to bring up the rest of the foot which i think would even out the pressure....so i was just going to cut up some plastic and try this myself since i dont have the money for a doc or a real insert....any advice..i already have put store bought insoles in both which is nice but it doesnt solve this problem..

The only right way is go to foot doc and get an orthotic made to correct this problem. Orthotics are custom made for your foot. You can expect to pay $300 and where it every time you have shoes on.

I don't have severe foot problems yet, but my father and grandmother both do/did so I went to my doctor for a referal and insurance paid for mine. If correcting foot problems now can prevent/delay future problems, it's well worth the money. If your legs are actually different lengths, that sounds like a medical problem/condition to me, and should be covered by health insurance.

Good luck!

you can get off the shelf, the cheapest are Phase 4 Orthotics. easy to search and find on web. Also, go to www.flatfoot.com they have some pricier models but still well below custom. Good Luck!
