|I'll be there with my wife. We try to do it every year. Seems like its rained the last 3 years in a row. At least there is no hurricane threat. |
Did you do the Reston last weekend? That's a nice ride. I was so exhausted from moving over the past week that I bailed and slept in on Sunday.
Potomac Peddlers puts on a good century in September also.
|Naaah....didn't do Reston||Greg Taylor|

|Did it one year, and haven't felt compelled to do it again. The guys that I ride with always do one or two organized centuries in September as a sort of "tune up" for the Seagull in October. We usually get everyone out for that...
If you pass a bunch of guys wearing "Team Lardbutt" jerseys, go ahead and shout "on your left" and wave, because that will be us.
You are right about the rain -- and they are calling for at least a "chance" of rain on Saturday.

|at a bunch of centuries. |
You should do the Reston next year. Its a good century. Lots of hills.
I'll be doing the Seagull for the 9-th year in a row this year. First century I ever did. I've got every number. Its gotten so crowded and expensive in the past few years. Its really kind of a lousy ride. Flat and ugly. I wish it weren't so late in the year. But sentimental reasons keep bringing me back every year.
Maybe I'll see you at the hotdog stand on Saturday afternoon. I recall watching it pour when I got there last year. We bailed and did the metric. The year before was even worse. Lets hope it stays dry this year.
