|Okay, I bought a used IF Planet X and was building it up. When I installed the Bottom bracket (68mm M952 XTR) I noticed that I can't install it the normal way: it seems that the raised cup (normally the drive side on a road bike) goes in the non-drive side, while the fixed cup and spindle go in the drive side. This is backward, as it leaves the long (drive) side of the spindle on the non-drive side. But, if you flip it around, both threads are backward for installation. Am I a moron, or am I missing something here?|

|On ISO BBs the drive side has left-hand direction threads meaning it tightens by turning counter-clockwise. The non-drive side is standard right-hand thread meaning it tightens by turning clockwise.
Hope this helps.
