Fuji bikes made in Japan?Made in Taiwan

sorry if this sounds like a silly question, but are fuji bikes made in japan? the reason i'm asking is that i saw a Scattante bike at supergo, while "Scanttante" sounds italian, it is made in taiwan!!!!

I was considering LOOK 281 from totalcycling.com but then i realize that if i have any warrenty issues, i would have to deal with LOOK FRANCE!! since i'm not too keen on sending stuff across the pond, i'm begin to look else where. Coloradocyclist has the Fuji team issue built up w/ ultegra for $2100 and seem like a good deal and the geometry is pretty darn close to what i have already (before i wrecked it) so i'm considering it. While it is not a full c/f frame at least it has cf mono seat stays.

any of you guys out there ride a Fuji team issue frame? any comments? i'm considering the team issue with ultegra. LBS is offering OCLV with ultegra for $2300, is that a good deal?

thanks, just thinking out loud here... would appreciate some comments tho.

Doubt if any are still made in Japan. Recall seeing somewhere that the Team Issue was made by a builder in Australia.Maybe www.fujibikes.com has the answer/
