Is anyone on the board doing the grizzly century in Norht Fork CA on October 6th?

This century sounds like a blast, right near yosemite, and they state that there will be over 10,000 foot elevation gain.

Some friends and I are planning to do it.

Did it twice. It's a good century, one of the tougher ones you'll ever do. Almost no flat roads, all up or down. None of the climbs are very steep, though, except for some very short switchback section back across to the north.

Beautiful scenery, all up in the trees. Great views down the valley to the San Joaqin river from 3,000 feet above it.

Good support, lots of local people do it.

Eat plenty, or you'll bonk.
