New rig, recommendations, questions, thanks!Lardog

Ok, unfortunately or fortunately, it's time to start considering a new rig. I won't be able to climb on for a while, however, if I start to look now and order sometime soon, by the time I'm able, I'll have something. I'm not looking to go full bore into Calfee or Serotta right now. This will be a 2nd bike in the long run, most likely, but then again, maybe not....

Firstly I'm looking for some tubing answers if anyone's got them. Deddacciai EOM and Zero Uno, is that alu tubing? composite? I'm not sure. Another question is in regards to the gvh site. Am I correct to assume that any Italian bike on that site will be threaded Italian and be able to handle either Campy or Shimano BB's? How about Land Sharks? English threaded I assume?

I don't know if I'll be able to handle non-internally routed cables, but I know I'll have to consider it. I'm considering right now, perhaps a Marin, got a Cinelli choice, Land Shark, looking hard at Viner, perhaps a kg281 maybe some others. Any comments on Altec V5 as compared to Zero Uno? I don't really need carbon stays. Any comments on the Campy hiddenset? I've also viewed a bunch of Times. I didn't think they made frames. Anyone know who built them for Time? Yeah most of these are top dogs, some are priced to be a good 2nd ride though.

I'm coming from a top level American alu ride. 5'8" and 145, stiffer the better.

Thanks for your help.
