Want to see a biker rant in a Boston paper?kenyee

A notable quote:
"Obviously, Birmingham is so out of touch that he has no comprehension whatsoever about how much bicycles annoy car drivers, who make up some 98 percent of the electorate."

Not that I like Birmingham, either. He and the house speaker basically run the state (the governor is a figurehead and these two guys threaten all the other House and Senate members to get their own warped agenda through so the peons have no influence on what happens thru their reps)-:
What an *(&(*&@!#*&( jerk (nm)Mabero

Lots more brain-dead left-wingers here than right-wingers since MA is a 90% Democratic state. We're the only state that the nut McGovern won in :-)

Doesn't seem to matter who they (politicians, reporters), they just want to run your lives because your life doesn't fit in with their idea of normal-ness...

I don't know, nor have I ever listened to Mr. Carr. I assume those who say have. But how does one tie the two togeather based on just one story? I have never heard Rush, who I do listen too, talk about cycling. Now golf is another story!

The Herald is a pretty low-brow paper - one step above the Enquirer - the reason why they come off sounding like jerks is b/c they are. Politics in Boston is about as corrupt as it gets and being an a$$hole driver is a matter of sport and pride. I was born and raised there, but can only take the place in small doses. I truly feel sympathy for the bikers in this area - if the weather doesn't get too you the drivers and the roads will.
