Differences between Selle Flite Trans Am and Max Flite T/AAristotle

I was on Selle's website, and I couldn't determine if there was any difference between the Flite Trans Am and the Max Flite Trans Am saddles. I won't be able to get to the LBS until this weekend to ask. Anybody know?

is that Max trans am is wider at the sit area and has slightly more padding. If you are looking at these two, look at the Prolink trans am also. My personal experiense was that (for me) the Flite T/A was too hard, The Max T/A was too soft, anf the Prolink T/A was just right.

Of course everyone' butt is different.

The Max Flite T/A has a different design how on the rails are connected which helps absorb vibration. It's also a little heavier. I like my Max Flite T/A but my butt's not that picky about seats.

Also the rails are made of different materials. Just to note, I just got a T/A MAX and tried it out on a longer ride for the first time yesterday. I like it! (but I do wonder if the narrower seat would've been better for me).

The Max TA has magnesium rails, which are attached at the rear via elastomers that provide just a bit of shock absorption. And it's a little wider.

The Flite TA has ti rails, rigidly attached, and is a bit narrower.

The Max is wider in the nose area also. Weighs about 40gms more. Both are good saddles but for me the TA works like a champ.

My TA weighs 268gms which is a bit heavier than advertised.... in keeping with industry standards though :(
