|Can anyone help me? I am new to roadbiking and bought my bike about 2 weeks ago but after a few miles I get a pain at the bottom of my back. What can I do with my posture or bike adjustments to relieve this?.|

You might try raising your handlebar stem a little, mark it before you do so you know how much you moved it. There are several possibilities at work here that might be causing the pain. Underused stomach muscles, tight hamstrings, underused back muscles, incorrect positioning of seat to handlebars....combination of all mentioned or unmentioned. You don't give alot of info on experience so I am only guessing.

|Thanks. The handlebar stem does not raise on the bike so i have turned it upside down and the angle has caused it to raise itself to a more comfortable position.I have not tested it yet over a short ride but it does feel better.I am very in-experienced.|| |
