Giant Kronos 1997: aluminum or not?Noam

Hey all,

Someone offered me to sell his Kronos (1997 year) but he can't tell me whether that year's model was an aluminum frame. Can someone shed some light?

Thanks,
Noam

The 300 series stainless steel are non-magnetic, where as the 400 series stainless steels are magnetic.

Columbus makes a stainless steel tubing called "Metax". I'm fairly sure it is not magnetic. I have only heard of a few small custom frame builders using this steel. I know of no large bike manufacturer who uses this stainless steel.
