Someone offered me to sell his Kronos (1997 year) but he can't tell me whether that year's model was an aluminum frame. Can someone shed some light?

|The 300 series stainless steel are non-magnetic, where as the 400 series stainless steels are magnetic.
Columbus makes a stainless steel tubing called "Metax". I'm fairly sure it is not magnetic. I have only heard of a few small custom frame builders using this steel. I know of no large bike manufacturer who uses this stainless steel.
