|yeah, man...was going down a city street and decided to take a right. well, didn't see the sand in the road ('cause it was around 11:30pm)....needless to say, i hit the sand and bam...slid a while on my right side. it was awesome. looked around and saw a puddle of wet stuff by where i went down and thought i might've done some serious damage, but it was actually my water and not my blood. so i got up, rinsed the wounds, then took a moment to reflect, and then i headed home to clean up.
i got home, woke up Mom (i'm 19, home from college) and showed her...she got mad 'cause i was laughing. she said "yeah, real funny." haha...

|Good to see you can laugh at this crash, but believe me you won't always be laughing. I had an accident with a car two weeks ago, and I'm still not laughing. I didn't break anything, but am very bruised and my left knee took a lot of the impact, hopefully I will be able to ride again this weekend. Stay happy.

|i think the "haha"s were a result of the adrenaline rush 'cause now they're being replaced with "oh man, that kinda hurts a bit..." and "dang my hip hurts!"|

|Yep, that's right! My first one was not very serious but it did leave a nasty scrape. The second one was pretty darn serious, but it didn't hurt me. It was my sister. We were riding side-by-side (bad idea) and our handle bars hooked. We went down into a barbed wire fence. I was underneath the two bikes but unhurt. My sister went hands first into the fence. She sliced her hands badly and had to get stiches. But, she's fine now. I hope she doesn't scar.|| |
