This topic came up on the Tri message board lets see what everyone here thinks. If you can have one Aero/Disc wheel where should it be? Front or Back?

keep your crap wheels and drop 10 pounds!!! (not implying you need to, but article does indicate a weight loss is even more significant than aero or wheel weight benefits).
Tired of this suggestion, maybe you can lose 10 lbsJ.S.

but at the moment I'm 6' 150 lbs and 5.5% body fat. So what, do I cut off an arm? Not everybody on this board is an overweight shlub on a $ 5000.00 bike

The whole reason for this post was there was some doofus on another baord saying that if you could only have one disc wheel it sould be on the front and he was calling those of us who ride them only on the back idiots... fwiw
then the guy is only half rightDog

From an aero point of view, that makes sense, since the front is exposed to more frontal air.

But, the guy likely never has ridden even a deep section wheel in a cross wind. They can be a real handful. You almost never see front discs on the road, for that reason.
