Could you guys help me? I'd like to start learning how to build and service wheel just for the heck of it. I've seen the post last time here and couldn't find that article with the search engine. My question is where to buy that book (Zinn and the art of wheel building) by Lennard(?). How much does it cost and is it worth it? All this typing has got to improve my shifting with STI (index only)! Thanks alot y'all. Keep it cranking!!!

Dunno 'bout Lennard Zinn writing a book specifically on wheel builds, but check these out... Jobst Brandt and his texts are like a defacto wheelbuilder's bible.

Be the bike.

His book on the road bike maintenance is good for beginners. Like the blow-up diagram on those shifters. Make you want to take them apart but afraid you're not gonna put them back together. Anyway, thanks alot! Now where did that small screw went to?....
