Any opinions of these bikes? Are they worth the price?

I have a Z7 and love it. Can't comment on the Silverton. I'm 6'4" about 195lbs, so Eric steered me towards the Z7 (instead of the Kalispell at that time). The Z7 is stiff, no doubt about it, but it isn't punishing, centuries are not a problem on it.

If you haven't already talked to Eric Sampson, give him a call and talk to him. He's been great to deal with.

I've been riding a Sampson Kalispell for about 3 years and love it. For the price, you really can't beat Sampson and Eric is absolutely the best to deal with. This was my first road bike, and he was supremely helpful. They did a great job building and packaging the bike and it arrived ready to go. Great purchasing experience.
