LOOK 206 or 236?vgraziano

I am looking to purchase my first pair of clipless pedals and can get either of these Look Pedals for $50. I've seen the reviews of the 206 in the Reviews section but haven't seen anything on the 236. I notice a big difference in the weight between the two, is there anything else really different between the two?
Which is the better pedal and which one should I get?
Appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

I have 2 sets of the 206, and really like them. They seem to be the lightest Look pedal, but still have a very large platform, are reliable, and easy to enter/exit. I also have the 296, similar to the 236, I think, but with the adjustable float (which doesn't do much, as far as I can tell). I like the smooth plastic insert of the 206 better than the metal platforms, as it seems to allow smoother movement and is quieter. It may not last as long, though, but it replaceable. I also have the CX7, with is really no big deal, unless you need to put some cant into the pedals.

I had a pair of those for a long time. Lasted long and never gave me any trouble, plus they were cheap.

That's the "Fisher-Price" model, right? My first pair of Looks.
Yep; came w/ a matching set of training wheels! :-) (nm)look271
