SO I see it's a fairly popular item to add to water, hydration drink or homemade energy goop. And a buddy of mine who owns a beer & wine making supply shop gave me a pound. Now the question is, how much do you add to your drink or goop to be effective? I tried 2 tablespoons in a 21 oz. water bottle and couldn't taste it, but I'm sure that's not an accurate indicator.

Care to share your recipies? BTW - I'm used to adding about 1-2 tablespoons of honey to my large (28? oz.) water bottle... I assume this will be better? Or is a combination the way to go?

Thanks

it's unfermentable sugar to beer yeast, so it doesn't turn to alcohol, and insteads adds body. Good for strong scotch ales, stouts, porters, etc. where you want a heavy body without further increasing the alcohol content.
