I keep hearing that the USPS team rides stock Trek frames- it's NOT true. They ride prototypes that aren't available to the public, not yet anyway. In fact, I was at a Trek dealer and someone asked if they could order the same bike Lance rides- the shop guy said, "no way", but he could get one that was, "close to being what Lance rides."

You mean the TT bikes? Your right - no way. His climbing bike? Well, limited production and very expensive. But road bike? Yeah, it's stock OCLV.

his regular tour bike is stock OCLV except the whole USPS team rides with mavic wheels and hutchinson tires and dedi bars and stem.
