How much is this bike worth???Dand

I have a celeste Bianchi Sport SX 51cm that I think is from the late 90s, it has the following components:
1.- Black Araya 700c wheels
2.- Shimano Exage 6 sp shifters and deraileurs
3.- Shimano Exage Bio-pace 52-43 crankset
4.- Shimano 13-23 freewheel
5.- San Marco ERA saddle
6.- Shimano Exage brakes
7.- Profile Aero bars
This bike is in almost new condition, it only has a few very minor scratches.
It is getting too hard to climb with this bike and I am thinking of buying a touring bike with more climbing ability.
what do you guys think? Anybody has a trade?
thanks, Dan.

I'd guess $300 - $400 bucks. You didn't say whether the shifters are downtube (then I'd say below $300) but I'm assuming STI. This is a pretty entry level setup.

Doubt if it's late 90's, maybe late 80's or so. $150-200.

I bought a 80's model outfitted exactly the same sans aero bars for $75. The bike had less than 300 miles on it when I bought it. I just keep it around for a "beater" and it usually is mounted on my stationary trainer.
I sold one last year...MikeC

They were actually pretty nice bikes for an entry-level. The Bio-Pace is considered a negative by most, and the Exage was early entry-level indexed shifting (downtube shifters). I bought mine new, and it was in good condition except for one broken toe clip. It had about 12,000 miles (I alternated it with my Campione d'Italia), but was well maintained. I got $150.

...but it's not an Italian Bianchi. I believe it's Taiwanese.

Most low end models are made in Taiwan. I bought a Strada LX with almost the same specs. for about $40. Was kept in the garage for almost 10 years. Nothing fancy about these machine but they do the job.

Wow, looking at everyone else's input, I missed the mark on this one. I assumed from your statement that it was late 90s that it was STI equipped.

Last year, I took an early 90s celeste green Bianchi Brava from a friend and put all my old RSX componentry on it, with STI shifters and an entry level Mavic wheelset, M535's for pedals, and a $18 cyclocomputer. I got $ 350 for the set up here in Denver.
