I won't say where, but I found the Terry Liborator (original) on sale for $24. I've been thinking about trying this saddle. Does anyone know if any major differnces exist between the original and current year models? If they're identical, then I can't beat this price.
call them and ask...Kevin M

Kristin,

I have Terry saddles on all my bikes - they are very comfortable.

I think they have made some changes to stitching and edge materials (also color), but the originals are pretty good. Why not call them up and ask? 800-289-8379. Their website is http://www.terrybicycles.com/

Try http://rideabike.com/bike/catalog/saddles_seatposts/index.htm for probably the lowest prices in the country for this year's models. Also, there's free shipping and no taxes.

There was a change in the stitching around the cut out. The original had the stitching around the top of the hole. This caused some discomfort for users. They now have a more rounded, seamless area around the cut out. My wife has one of the originals and it does not cause her any problems.

Yep, they changed the stitching, but mine's three seasons old and other than that it is wearing out, I've always loved it. I'd purchase with confidence, otherwise knowing only that seat preference is a personal THANG!

Be sure to check what model as Terry sells a model called the Liberator Sport Saddle. This model has a synthetic cover while the others have leather and the price is usually around $25.
