|Yikes, that is NOT a pretty sight. Anyone else catch the fan mooning n Sunday's climb? The camera was out in front looking back on one of the steep pitches when a fan dropped trousers. No comments from Phil and Paul. |

|in a 3 consecutive TDF win. It cannot be as bad as the Campy fanatics claim if it functions well enough to propel someone to 3 consecutive wins. CASE CLOSED!! No argument here, just the simple, plain old facts. Why is it that the component bashing is only one way. I almost invariably see Campy people bashing Shimano but rarely Shimano riders bashing Campy. I have ridden both and they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

|Components or frames do NOT make a tour winner. LA could have easily won the TdF riding Campy just as he won on Shimano. The fact that campy has all the victories from 1990 to 1998 is somewhat coincidental, because more and more teams were using Shimano. |
Both components groups (Record and D/A) have been refined to suit the rigors of professional racing.
For the pros, they do not get the choice what components they ride. For us consumers, we can get whatever we want, and enjoy it to its fullest!!
